Areas of Practice

Practice Focus

Chantale has a particular focus on people whose work puts them under heavy strain: healthcare workers (nurses, physicians and allied health), first responders, RCMP members and military veterans.

How Chantale Works

Chantale doesn't rely on a single type of therapy. She draws on several evidence-based approaches and chooses what fits the person and the problem in front of her.

Her sessions are practical and purposeful. The goal is change you can notice in your daily life, not therapy for therapy's sake.

About Chantale

Before becoming a therapist, Chantale spent more than 20 years as a respiratory therapist in critical care and sleep medicine. She was a steady presence for people during some of life's hardest moments, from birth to end-of-life care.

That background shapes how she works today. She understands how health, sleep, stress and mental health affect each other, and she knows from the inside what healthcare and emergency work asks of people.

Chantale founded Harbourside so clients could work with one therapist while having a whole collective behind them. As clinical lead, she also helps match new clients with the therapist best suited to what they need.
