Katarina Deboer, RCC

Katarina’s clinical practice is rooted in a collaborative, trauma-focused framework, integrating evidence-based modalities such as CBT, CBT-I, DBT, ACT, and Interpersonal Therapy, with ongoing training in EMDR.

Rather than viewing clients as a collection of symptoms, she emphasizes authentic human connection and individualized care to help individuals navigate major life transitions, manage stress, understand complex relational patterns, and improve overall wellness.

Her practice specializes in supporting survivors of abuse as well as first responders— police, fire, paramedics, and dispatchers—and their families. She offers targeted care for operational stress, PTSD, moral injury, burnout, secondary trauma, and the unique communication and identity challenges within first responder households.

Outside of work, she is an avid runner and traveller who enjoys camping with her partner, their dog, and spending time with loved ones.
